WS6 Ram air

Hello all, I am looking to buy a Ram Air WS6, Six speed. I used to own a 1999 and loved it, but sold it in 2002. Now here I am having a mid life crises, just turned the big 50 and I want to buy another one. I am a female so I have to be careful and make sure I get a good deal but its hard to find pricing out there since there not made anymore. Here are my Questions. Since Pontiac is out of business, am I still able to get parts for this car, what if it gets in an accident and I Need a new Hood or fender, what would I do? I am sure the engine can be serviced by any mechanic right? is this going to be an issue for me? also what would be the best year to get, I noticed a boost in the engine for 2001 and 2002, what's the best year to get. I am going to use this as a weekend cruiser not a full time car and I am not looking for more HP than what my 1999 had which was fine, so what is the best year. I am going to look at one today that is a 2000 with 56,000 how cool is that. apparently it has been garaged for over 5 years as the owners son that owned it passed away so they have held onto it and its got one owner. there asking 14,995.00 and its loaded, T Tops, NICE wheels, leather WS6 package the miles are low but the price sounds high, how do you determine what to offer someone. also my mechanic is a fanatic, he will pick the car up and inspect top to bottom, my concern is that its been sitting so long. so please give me your feedback on what year is best and how I find a price and anything else you want to share is great. 3. dont confine yourself to any given year, it's hard enough to find a good car.
4. any certified mechanic should be able to service it
5. an vehicle that has been sitting a long time has to have all it's fluids changed and checks for leaks, your mechanic should be able to handle that.

Thank you Admin, I have checked those sites you have given me. my Question is this. Does a Ram Air WS6 require a higher price than what the blue books are showing me. it seems like people are asking a lot more than what there booking out at and I am wondering why. Is it a rare car? I know these cars are driven hard and fast so I am going to take my time and find a good one and have it checked from top to bottom before I buy it, however can you tell me if its common for the sellers to get a higher price for this car b/c its no longer made is it even popular, is it big demand I have no idea so I am asking for help? I want to find a ram air but there so much money. I am looking at a 1998-2002. Thank you for your help.

The sites above spend lots of time gathering statistics and give you rough ideas, that is their business. I would think the NADA is the most accurate in this case. The average person coming to a site like this or any other has no way of knowing what the overall trend is on sales prices of specific cars unless they sold one or maybe know someone who sold one. In your case you should be able to judge for your self the rarity, how hard is to find a WS6 equipped vehicle? I would think they are not common. No matter what generation of Pontiac you are looking at, Ram Air cars cost considerably more than others.
