runs rough and runs good it doesn't know what it wants

My 96 firebird will usually start now (i wrote a post about it will start but if you turn it off it won't start again unless it sits awhile) but it will idle good for the most part but it will sputter a little every few minutes sometimes it will die and it will turn over with the same symptoms. I have a obd 2 and originally it coded a massive air flow sensor so I replaced it and it wasn't coding anything but when it started sputtering again I put the obd 2 on it and It's coding the same thing mass or volume air flow is low what does that mean especially since I put a new maf sensor in. Could it be a throttle position sensor and is there a way to test a tps to see if It's bad. I really appreciate everyone you guys/gals rock

Check for intake leaks between the maf and the throttle body. Unmetered air will throw things off.

It won't start at all now after changing the tps and maf sensor and it was running before changing those 2 things. Any help would be appreciated.

is the fuel pump still working, have u check power to the injectors, spark plugs. check the crank position indicator... are you getting a code 13 i think that is what it is suppost to be" all condition normal for the main computer"...there is so much that need to be checked it is hard to do over the computer... i suppose you are on the west coast or something like that???

just replace the crank positon indicator, pull a injector plug... crank the car and check for power interuption... i am not sure about the newer injector but the older one had power on both wires which keeps the injector closed and interuption of one side allows it to open... i maybe wrong it has been a while since i messed with injection systems...
