Hand turning 250 inline 6

Hey, so I'm trying to hand turn my 1971 Ventura it's an inline 6 250 engine, I can tell the previous owner didn't take care of it and I'm trying to tune my rocker arms/rods to tdc. It's getting really hard to turn over and I had already removed the spark plugs as well

you are using a 6 point socket on the crankshaft bolt with a 1/2" drive ratchet or breaker bar?

Spray some kind of " rustbuster" spray in the spark plug holes and let it sit overnight.. (Just seen it used on a Jeep on the latest episode Dirt Every Day on YouTube.)
