Where is my oil dipstick?

Sorry guys, but I might be blind. I can´t find my freaking oil dipstick. It´s a 69 Grand Prix with the 400 cui engine... can you help me where to look?

Thanks,
Manuel

Does the car have A/C? if so it should have the long Dipstick tube, or an extension on the standard short tube.
I have seen several rebuilt engines that should have the long tube & dipstick installed, but after an engine swap or rebuild the short tube was pressed into the block. Then the short tube is behind and underneath the A/C Compressor.
Anouther possibility is it was removed when an aftermarket windage tray was installed. I have seen that 1 time also.
Here is a picture of the Short, non A/C Type

here is a shot of the longer with A/C tube, but with the A/C compressor missing

I found it! Under the A.C. just as the short version. Very hard to grab and to get pushed back. What could that mean? Not the original engine? So if I order the long stick I need get a longer tube somehow also?

they make both the longer upper dipstick tube and the longer dipstick.
www.amesperf.com
check the engine code to determine if you have the original engine

www.amesperf.com doesn´t work for me. I tried to order the catalogue but CC payment doesn´t work and they won´t reply on my emails.

Can someone please tell me the lengths of both the short and long dipstick? I want to know which one I have currently in my car and which one I´d need.

Also, I bought the longer tube, can I remove the short tube coming out of the engine easily?

Thanks again.
