03 Bonneville a/c new member question

I have an 03 Bonneville with single zone a/c. Everything I seem to find is dual zone. My problem is, when I turn on my a/c I only get heat out of the dash ducts. If I turn it on the floor, it is cold and I get cool air out of the dash ducts when I turn on the vent. I can also get cold air out of the defrost vents. I cannot seem to find a single zone a/c diagram or diagnostics. Can anyone give me a direction to look in? Thanks.

you have a problem with an air door actuator motor. Either the motor or the connection is at fault. This link is for an earlier model but the basic principles are the same. The second link is for the parts
