Brake lights

Hi! If anyone can help, I have a G6 the brake lights go on and stay on when you shift it into gear, also the traction light is on. I had the recall taking care of my daughter picked up the car and the tech told her there was a switch under the hood but she can't remember what switch he said. Can any one help. Thanks

When you say brake lights, do you mean the warning light on the dash or the lights on the back of the car? I'm going to assume you mean the warning light on the dash combined with the traction control light being on is usually caused by a wheel sensor or the wires going to the wheel sensor. A scan tool or ohm meter is required to determine which of the 4 sensors is causing the problem.
