Mount issues

77 GP and I'm putting in a 1980 sbc and trans from a 1980 Chev pick up. It seems the motor mounts put the engine 1-2 inches closer to the drivers side and not in line with the drive shaft and the trans mount seems to high also. Any thoughts?

The GP probably came with a Pontiac 301 and I cannt find anybody who makes a motor mount for an engine swap to a Chevy in a W body. You will have to contact companies that make mounts and see if they can come up with a custom solution for you.
