2008 G5 AC Question

I recently reworked the whole ac system on a car. Worked perfect for a few weeks, then today, i pushed in the ac button and got a electrical smell through the vents, like some thing was burning or melting. Now the compressor doesn't come on anymore. Any clues as to what just malfunctioned? A control module of some sort?

thanks for clues.....

you gave no specifics as to what you meant by "reworked". Go over what ever you did that involved anything electrical to see what burnt. Did you check for burnt fuses? Did you check the AC relay?
