OK a little more info, there were a couple1970 Cadillac color that was close

1970 Cadillac Monarch Burgandy Iridescent or Chateau Mauve Firemist

But there has been some discussion on a couple of other boards of Chevies being Painted Plum Crazy, so anything is possible at this Point. Can't rule any color out.

I found a pice of paper from the factory, under the backseat.
Anyone in here have an idea what this means.
“Memo B1 16 Plum 927 42760 - lower body”

Interesting Dan, I sent the Build sheet Picture to a couple of people with more knowledge than me. I hope to hear back from them soon.

My guess is the car is actually plumb Crazy from the factory after seeing that build sheet. But lets wait and see.

Thanks for posting I really like Factory odd ball cars.

Well this is what I have learned so far, the info on the build sheet is as follows

memo 81-16 is the memo number

Plum is the color

the 927 42760 is the Ditzler (paint manufacturer) number the 1st 3 numbers (927) indicates it is a Metallic paint, the 42760 is the mfg paint code. So far the thinking is your car is Painted Plumb Mist, and it looks like the other cars painted that color, but the trouble is Plumb Mist in 1967 was # 927 50717. No one seems to have a Ditzler code chart for 1970, it may or may not have changed numbers between 1967 to 1970. Stay tuned the search is on for a 1970 chart.
