WAs the Solstice orange coupe show car drivable

In the book published by Lamm/Morada, written by Witzenberg, it shows the orange coupe which has no seam between front section and rest of body so I was wondering was that just a plaster/plastic model, life size pushmobile or a running driving car and where did it go with Saturn and Pontiac both bit the dust? This is not to be confused with the production coupe with lift off roof panel.

Could of been since it was a couple of years latter before the car came out to the dealerships., location of the car currently , I cannot find.

I'm sure that that or the silver one is in the GM Heritage collection.

1000 -800 cars are there, they show pictures of some but not all.

This probally answers your Question...........

"Recently, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, GM displayed a full-size foam model coupe version of the Solstice for the press and public. "

More than likley it was destroyed.......................
