If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello guys and gals! I'm new to the forum, but I wanted to introduce my new project. She's rough, but getting there! Let me know what y'all think. The car was pretty rough. Last registration was 1982 or 1983.

Factory power windows and AC!

I assumed the car would be a 389, it is not. I have yet to scrape away enough rat mud to get the engine ID off the back of the block. It does have 46 heads, intake 49229, and a YV block. The block does have the transfer lug on it. I'm hoping it is a 400. and not a 350. Front of the block, above the YV has 322947 stamped on it. No luck trying to figure it out.

Car has a pa system and siren as well.

I will keep y'all posted!

Thank you so much! Inhave spent the last 3 days trying to figure it out. My schedule has me at work during daylight hours, so I'm limited to working on it until the weekends.

Now, what do I do with the 350?

a 350 can be made to run as well or better than the original 389, the link posted is a good starting point. 65 is one of my favorate FS Pontiac models. Very rare to see any full sized 4-door saved, I have a soft spot for them as I own a 71 4-door Catalina.
