• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... The car starts first thing in the morning when cold. It will idle for 5 to 10 minutes fine. As soon as you give it some Gas it will die, then I can not get it to start again. No trouble codes present except for the long dash then 2 short ones. The fuses in the glove box are good, I do not know about the fusible links. The battery is new, all head lights and tail lights work fine. I have no spark after it dies. I am sure this has happened to someone else here. My question is what should I be looking into? Not that familiar with the ignition system on this thing. The car has 177,000 miles on it.
