2004 grand prix gtp side marker lights issue

So my side marker lights in the front and rear both stopped working at once..I changed the park lamp fuse and relay and all 4 bulbs and still nothing...any suggestions?...thanks in advance

When you turn on the headlights, they dont come on?

Headlights work, brake lights work and turn signals works, its the side lights,the 4 small ones

There's 2 in the front and 2 in the back on the sides,smallest bulbs,in dash it says service parkinglamps,thats when I changed the fuse,relay and all 4 bulbs but none of that did the trick

I know which lights you are referring to.
I was trying to establish if the problem is related to the automatic function turning on the side marker lights versus you manually turning on the headlights.
So assuming your car is equipped with automatic lighting, if you manually try to turn on the lights do the side markers come on?
Have you tested any of the side marker sockets with a test light or voltmeter>

Sry,other ppl iv talked to have had hard times understanding what lights i was referring too, and yes, they are automatic.....They don't come on manually, and I havnt tested the sockets, ill have to pick up a test light in the a.m since I'm at work and see what happens...but do you think all 4 sockets would go bad at the same time?

I doubt the sockets are bad but either power or ground could be and that is why you have to test.

What did you come up with?
Was it a ground?
Where is the wire(s) grounded for that circuit?
