I recently purchased a 66 gto clone with a 428 in it. With the 428 I can't unscrew the oil filter to change it so I have to unbolt the housing to change the filter. I have heard there is a 45 deg housing would work. I've looked and I think it would but I can't find a 45 deg housing when I search for it. And suggestion for a site that may have one?

something isnt right with this set up. A 428 has the same outer dimensions as a 421, 400 and 389 which your car originally came with.
Are you using an oil filter which is approximately 5" in height?
Does the oil filter adapter on your engine look like the one in the link below?

The housing in you link is exactly what I want. That's a 45 deg one. I just haven't been able to find one for a 428. All I can find are 90 deg ones that point straight down

The web sights I was trying to order it from kept telling me it wouldn't fit. But thank you. I'll order it as soon as I get off work
