Hey guys,

I've got a '95 Grand Am that I'm replacing the fuel pump on. The car has 170K miles on it, so the underside of the car is a mess. Everything is rusted, muffler needs changes, you get the idea.

The bolts that hold the fuel tank straps in place are of course horribly rusted. I managed to move them a little bit, and then the little threaded tabs that the bolts thread in to broke. The bolts are still intact but spin freely, it's just those little tab-nuts are completely busted.

As far as I can see my only option is just to drill the bolts out and replace them, but I can't seem to find anywhere that sells the exact bolts, and nuts, that I need. The only one I've found is here, and I don't know if this is correct or not.

Has anyone else had to deal with this, and have any advice or tips?

Thanks!

why do you question the correctness of the link, if you enter 95 Pontiac Grand Am it comes up with the strap number and price? Dorman products are sold by lots of auto chains NAPA, Autozone, etc. If you want just a bolt and nut cannt you use anything that fits the hole in the strap?
