My 96 firebird acts like the battery is dead. I had it tested and put a 100% charge on it and when I put it in the car and try to start it it will barely crank then will have no juice to even barely move the crankshaft. I tried the wipers and windows and they move real slow. This battery will start another car. All the instrument lights come on and it chimes strong when the key is in the ignition. All the simple fuses are good. This car is my ex wifes and had a friend of hers put in new plugs and wires in it and this idiot doesn't know how to work on cars and when she brought it to me it wouldn't start and I had her try to start it and it was dark outside and when she turned the ignition under the engine on the drivers side were the spark plugs are there was a spark show that happened I thought it was the 4th of july. The spark lasted just a second and has never happened again but now I have this problem. Any help would be so appreciated.

get a starter button... it hooks right to the starter with gator clips... that bypasses the key opp... ensure the key is off or the car may want to start... by doing this with key is off you are elliminaiting all key operated units... this will actually test the starter and nothing else... let me know the results...

Check the battery ground cable where it attaches to the frame and also the positive cable which may have burnt, your fireworks, where it attaches to the starter.

tested starter

I used a remote starter and tested the starter and when you pull the trigger the starter makes a clunk sound and it only happens when you pull the trigger. Is this a bad starter. All the cables are in good shape and secured good.
