Brake Light issue: Very weird.

I have a 1996 firebird 3.8l. The other night a buddy told me my break light was out, so i bought a new bulb replaced it and it seemed to work just fine.
Well come to find out the brake light works just fine in the day, but when i turn my tail lights on and hit my brakes, the driver side brake light goes black, but passenger side still works.

Any ideas where i could find a wire diagram for the tail light?
