Hi everyone! I am going to get my mechanic to figure this out next week. Just curious of what you experts think. Really cold here the past 2 weeks. I put in a new battery in December to be ready for something like this. We had -27 degrees for like 3 straight nights. Car won't start regularly. Had the battery checked today and it is good. When I can start it , I am getting 15 volts. Terminals are clean. Is there some kind of relay which could be at fault. 2002 Grand Prix with the 3.8 liter. I have never had any starting issues until now!

Sounds like a frozen starter or solenoid.

When you said you have 15 volts, are you using a multimeter?
If so what is the voltage reading now?
