fuel question

Is there a way to pour gas directly into the motor of a 96 firebird. I'm not sure if my fuel pump is bad. Any suggestions on my problem. My car was running and I put a new tps in and it won't start or even try to start. I used my multimeter to test the tps and all the readings are normal. I put gas in just in case the gauge was off to no avail. There's no pressure at all at the fuel rail. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when you turn the key to the on position do you hear the fuel pump engage?
