• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a 99 sunfire 2.2 and can get a 2000 sunfire 2.2 The 99 is better.

What parts can I take off the 2000 and put on the 99? The 00 is standard and the 99 auto. Suspension,brakes,starter,... Can I keep the 2000 as a parts car?
Can I use the same motor? Thanks for all your help. :)

Most of the parts are interchangeable. Just make sure when you get into electronics like the ECM you switch eveything including wire harness.

Thankyou

The info is much appreciated. Now I can set up the 2ooo as a donor car and not worry about parts mismatching.:)

You can check parts interchangeability at www.gmpartsdirect.com

Again, thanks for all the info. I do have one question, I have a hard time getting my replies. I sent another question a few days ago, but can`t seem to access it. Can you tell me what I`m doing wrong? The way I got this one was to scroll back to when I joined and took it from there, there`s got to be a way where I can go directly to my replies.

the one about the door switch? you should see it on the sunfire forum, you are posting to the new member/off topic forum.
