• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I guess you broke the engine in on the test stand? Did you set up the distributor curve?

Yes I did. As for the curve, the MSD 6AL and 8528 distributor are ready to run, plug & play. Installed the lighter springs for quicker advance. 40 degs. total timing. Inital set @ 8 BTDC.

Becareful with that advance of 40 degs. if you mean total mechanical, it is a little on the high side. You would be better off with a total mechanical of 36 and an initial of 12 if the distributor allows that.
