• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have purchased a 68 lemans with no keys. Does the key switch just operate the ignition switch or does it operate doors also. On my 69 lemans the ignition switch has one key and the doors and trunk is another key? I was going to remove the ignition switch and take it to a lock smith but looks like i need a key to remove it.

From my recall that unit is part of the dash board. I would remove the whole assembly and take it to an automotive locksmith.
