I'm looking to purchase one of two 2004 Grand Prix GTP's that I'm looking at and could really use some advice on what to look for and how long to expect it to last.

GTP #1. 160,000 miles, owners says it's in good condition and everything works, has new tires. Asking $2,800
GTP #2. 131,736 miles, owner says it runs and drives with no problems, never failed to start. both the heat and AC work fine. This one does has the Competition Group option.

Any advice? Thanks!

nobody on the internet can tell you which car is better based upon those descriptions.
ask both current owners if they agree to having the cars checked by a mechanic.
