• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... You might say we're a GM family. My wife and I have a '11 Silverado LT Crew 4x4, '07 G5 SE, and '02 Grand Am SE. Middle daughter has a beater '95 Grand Am and our oldest daughter a '09 Vibe. My favorite mode of transportation is my '09 H-D Electra Glide Ultra Classic though.

Over the years I've owned (in order and some in combinations) a '74 Dodge Dart, '74 Mustang (V6 junk), '78 Camaro Z28 (my wife really misses that car), '65 Dodge Polara winter beater that I later traded for a '79 Suzuki 425, '83 Honda V-45 Magna, '76 F250 4x4 (4:10 gears and 8 mpg with a tail wind), '72 Chev Belair (pulled out of a farmers field and put on the road), '85 Mazda GLC, '88 Ford F150 Supercab, '86 Olds Cutlass, '86 Mazda 626, '96 Ford Windstar, '88 Chev Astro, '79 F150 Supercab, '95 GMC Safari, '83 Goldwing Aspencade and then our Grand Am and our current stable.

Grand Am is getting old and being a pain so looking for input to problems I'm having. Love driving the car, too stubborn to just sell it and too cheap to take it to the dealer (local independent shops aren't that great).
