If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Hello everyone, I am new to this type of thing so if I mess up please have patience with me. I just bought a 1984 Fiero for my son in High School and am having some trouble. I have worked on my own vehicles for many years and never run across this before. My son and I cleaned up the car and serviced everything (oil and filter, plugs, plug wires, rotor and cap, fuel filter etc...) I checked the firing order several times checked that it is getting fuel (it is) it has a good blue spark at the plug end of every wire. It will turn over with ease and has good compression but it just will not start. We have been going over everything two or three times just to make sure but nothing. the only thing I can think that it might be is the ECU could be bad, I checked the codes but there were none so stumped again. Does anyone have an idea of something I missed? Thanks again!

does it sputter or stumble like it's trying to start?..if not try some startter fluid or brake clean..and see what happens...did you check all fuses and relays?

Thank you for all the responses
About the fuel, the pump comes on and stays on for a few seconds then shuts off just like it is supposed to. Whenever it is cranking there is a good spray being shot into the throttle body. I also disconnected the injector and tried spraying starter fluid directly into the TB with no result. I checked the plugs after trying to start for a while and they were moist but not wet.
I checked timing gear through the oil filler cap and it is turning. The lady I got it from said she was driving it home and saw some Blue smoke come out the tailpipe so she got afraid and parked it at home and started driving her other car. After several years she decided to get rid of it. Blue smoke to me means un-burnt fuel so I thought it might be in the ECU’s auto timming???

all the fueses are good
