Hey Everyone,

I've been helping my mother-in-law get everything back in order after my father-in-laws passing. I'm in a predicament and hoping a guru on here can help me out. The car is a 2005 Pontiac Grand Prix GT which hasn't been started in at least half a year. It is completely locked up and the battery is dead. I've replaced the battery's in the key fob which didn't work which is how I arrived to the conclusion the battery is dead. It appears there is only one manual lock key hole on the whole car which is driver's door. The issue is that I haven't been able to get the damn lock cylinder to rotate left or right it's completely stuck. The key goes in but it doesn't turn in the slightest. I've tried blasting it with PB Blaster, White Lithium grease and it won't work at all.

Does anyone have a solution outside of flat-bedding it to my GMC dealer to replace the lock? I might try calling the cops to see if they can break in but don't want to risk breaking something.

Call an automotive locksmith
I assume there is no access through the trunk.
