Rack pinion mounting bracket keeps breaking

2007 grand prix..110000 miles..hit a pothole abt 1 year ago and broke right side mount bracket at the weld..have replaced rack 2x and the rt side bracket continues to break even after replacing the strut and spring on that side..been using cordone remanufactured replacement racks..but hell that aint supposed to happen..anyway im thinking maybe its something like the subframe or something else..although the subframe looks ok to me..really at a loss on this..any help is greatly appreciated..

A large metal platform that the car is placed on. Measurements of the frame are taken and compared to manufacturer specs. If out of spec attachments on the rack are used to straighten the frame.

Without knowing whether or not the current subframe is damaged it is just a guess.

When you replaced the strut, did you then take the car to be aligned and did they have any problem getting it to specifications?
