I remember Roy Blowing up at Talladaga back in 1969 or 70. I always rooted for that big Native American. I wish I still had the pictures I was able to take of that engine with multiple rods sticking out of the block and oil pan!! Amazing that it survived, he only had 1 or 2 cars. But he was not competitive and seldome wrecked a car on the track so that probably helped it survive, no one else wanted to buy a used non competitive race car. I always rooted for Roy and H P Baily? They were the only die hard Pontiac teams in Nascar in the late 60's early 70's
