• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Have a 2001 Grand Am - I've diagnosed it to the point where we think it needs shift solenoids (sometimes won't shift into drive, sometimes it will - code says shift solenoid number 2 is stuck on) Where are the solenoids?! And how do I know which is number 2?

The solenoids are in the side cover and as long as you are in there you would replace both. Try a bottle of Lucas Transmission Treatment first.
