Should i buy a pontiac firebird?

Im looking for a second car and Ive always wanted a nice V8 pontiac firebird. It's a pretty basic question but i feel i should have some opinions. Thanks.

depends what you are going for.

The pre early pontiacs are very simple cars, and easily worked on, and spares are insanely cheap, and if you are in the US, its freely available.

Also, because of their simplicity, they actually make great daily drivers if everything is in good working order (suspension/brakes/engine/gearbox)

Just avoid the early turbo's, they tend to destroy the motor due to no knock sensors.

I have no comments about the later models.

Not unless you wanna give it lots of love, cars need it too, specialy for the ones who wanna drive it cause they enjoy it, and expext to be able to jump in it turn the key and go.I would recommend a throttle body or tuned port injection engine,305 for a daily driver and 350 for pure power , mostly for extras out for it and fuel economy if it will be used as a daily driver.
