• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I have a 2004 Grand am and it has a monsoon amp in it and my rear speakers are extremely distorted and crackly I have installed new speakers so they are not blown. If anyone can help it would be appreciated.

Monsoon systems from GM require monsoon speakers, they have 4 separate terminals instead of 2 like most aftermarket speakers, you have to check online to see how to wire up the aftermarket ones.

Most change out the whole system with a new head unit.

Ask the nice folks at www.crutchfield.com for advise.

Exactly what speakers did you install?
Manufacturer and number?
