• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Terminology help

Good afternoon.

My brother has a '71 Lemans Sport convertible and needs to rehab the front suspension. I'm more of a 'Net nerd than him so that's why I registered.

I see "x-body" when looking at Ames Performance springs. Google isn't helping. I see "x-body" and think Eighties Citation. I suppose it could mean the X frame shape. Can y'all point me to good online source to explain this kind of Pontiac minutiae?

PS Back on the day, I had a '72 Cutlass so I'm no stranger to the A-body goodness.
