• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... I am a single mom looking at buying a 99 Pontiac Grand Am from a friend of my sister's, but would like to do a vehicle history check on it. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this information without being charged an arm & a leg? :) With my limited budget I can't afford $30 or $40 for the info. I would really appreciate any suggestions.... thanks so much

try www.carfax.com or take it your mechanic and let them look it over for you
