which motor do i have and how do i tell

So I bought a 1986 pontiac transam and from what i know its supposedly not the same motor the came in the car how do i tell the difference between a 5.0tpi and a 5.7 tpi motor

Rear of the motor, below the head on the drivers side. It should say 5.0 or 5.7. Using a mirror is helpful.
