My pontiac transport will not start after it runs for awhile and you turn it off once it cools down it starts back up. does any one know what the problem is?

Gonna need more info to really diagnose this, but here's a thought. Is it binding? Or a misalignment at the starter? Sounds like it turns over from how you've described it, just no start. Could be a lot of things, from fuel to sensors, no real way to tell without more info.
If you haven't already, get a manual for it, and see what its troubleshooting sections suggests. I've found them to be invaluable when working on my cars. Let us know more information, and what happens.
