I have a 2005 Monte Carlo ls doing gaskets now and dealin w P1811 code. What common probs/fixes am I in for? Looks like alot of parts are on clearence. I would like to get what im gonna need now. Thanks!

You do realize this is a Pontiac forum.
The Grand Prix and Monte Carlo had 3 engine choices in 2005.
P1811 is related to the transmission.

That's series 3, reliable engine but a lot depends on prior owner maintenance of the car and the mileage.
