People,

I tried to test the tiny cylindrical motor that pumps the motor for the windshield washer fluid, but there is a red and a black wire that supplies voltage to the pump. Anyone know which wire is the + and which is the -? Is red positive and blk negative? I could consult my shop manual but it has about 2000 pages (a half hour chore). That way, I could run a wire from the battery directly to the 2 terminals to test the pump, bypassing the switch circuit from the left/right turn signal lever to test the pump.

Thanks, people.

Red positive, black negative

Replaced mine 3 times, find a lifetime warranty one, you have to unbolt the inner splash shield partly to get to it, might have to replace the hose/plastic tubing if old..
