• Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "1995 Trans Am" isn't going to indicate to anybody that you need help. However, "Need help with my 1995 Trans Am" will. Be as descriptive as you can. Please use common sense... Just scored a 1973 455
4 barrel motor from a grandville. My 1976 350 has big valve heads on it with 94 cc combustion chambers. If I put the 76 heads on the 454 it should raise the compression ratio by over a point. Has anyone done this? Is it worth the effort?

Hopefully you mean a 455, the 454 is a Chevrolet engine.
According to this calculator going from a 112cc head to a 94 cc will raise the compression to over 10:1. Your call if you want to go that high.
