88 fiero 2.5 4 cylinder

I have an 88 Fiero 2.5L 4 cylinder automatic that is having what seems to be timing issues. We just got the head (re decked) put on and everything reassembled just fine. There is a miss-fire and my dad thinks its a timing issue and that we need to adjust the timing. I cannot find any information...
