rust

Hello all. I have an 07 with rusted out body under the rear bushing bracket and the pinch rails are rusted out also, not to mention the rockers and beyond. I"m not sure if I can put the jacks under the axles and still be able to remove the bracket and weld in the metal and then put it back...

Looking for personal opinions on this one. I have a 2003 Grand Am with 100k miles in good condition, with the exception of a few areas of chipped paint that I want to fix. Don't really care if it looks kinda shoddy, just don't want rust to eat the car. Speaking of rust... Have a decent patch...
