Ok so I got the heat working again had to replace blower and resistor. Now Im on to the next problem. The brakes are locking but only sometimes. Its the rear wheels and what seems like only the rear right is doing it. The abs sensors were changed not too long ago, brakes are good as well. Just dont know what is causing the intermittant locking of the one wheel.

The adjustment on that wheel maybe tighter than the opposite side. I also have had an experience where the use of aftermarket brake shoes caused the rears to prematurely lock.

And how did you fix your problem? My wife drives this car and I dont want them locking up on her on the ice this winter. Could be catastrophic especially if she has the kids with her at the time. Thanks!

In my case I went back to A/C Delco shoes but check the star wheel adjustment first. How many miles on the rear shoes?

I'm not sure on the miles. But they look like they have more than 3/4 pad left.

OK, you said pads, do you have 4 wheel disc brakes? I assumed you had drum brakes in the rear. If it's disc brakes, you may have a sticking caliper right rear.

If this is drum brakes it probaly the drums are out of round , I had this happen to me . Buy some Good quality drums as the cheepies can be warped out of the box . Be sure to replace Both drums and get some good shoes . Quality shoes are rivited and not bonded . Be sure to replace the hardware too !
