Ok so I bought this Aztek about a week ago and its now dead. Its an 01 with 133xxx mi with Versatrak. Anyway so wife drove it to work a few days and drives it home shuts it off and it just wont start now. It will crank healthy as can be but just wont start. Here is what ive done.
Fuel pump can be heard cycling.
Fuel pump relay clicks as it should, obviously.
Pressure checked at the Schrader valve on the rail is at 50 psi when pump cycles and ~57 psi when cranking.
Plugs are getting spark as per the screwdriver test.
Battery, alternator, and starter all tested as good.
All fuses under the hood and in the car checked and good.
Starter fluid sprayed into TB and car sputters to "life" then dies when fluid is gone.
Security light is NOT ON at all I've tried both my chipped keys.
OBDII scanner checked for drivetrain codes - no codes found.
One buddy suggested that all injectors may not be firing at all. Ill be checking that out in the AM.
Another buddy suggested that the cam sprocket may have snapped off the camshaft? Holy crap is this a thing with these cars? Ill be trying to see if the valves are moving tomorrow maybe through the oil fill. Like I said though the engine cranks like every other day. No weird sounds at all.....If stumped. Its gotta be something stupid since it just stopped starting......
