I have a 2001 grand am 3.4 v6 ram air.. I recently changed the intake gaskets due to coolant leaking.. new o rings for everything including injectors and also changed the injector caps.. I got everything back together and it ran perfect. After 400 miles started misfiring and pulling codes p0204(open injector circuit cyl 4) and p0300(random misfire) I know that the misfiring is caused from the injector. It does not do it all the time, it will run fine for awhile and engine light goes off and it then comes on again with the same problem. What could cause the injector problem? A pinched wire causing a short? Bad injector? Please any advice would be great

from everything I see concerning that code you have a open or shorted circuit to that injector. Check the wire harness and connector.

So lean more towards the wiring of the injector instead of the injector itself being bad?

you can try switching the injector to a different cylinder to see if the code changes
