01' Grand Am Power Window

Hi, does any one know how I can fix my power window on the driver side? Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn't. But of course today it got stuck halfway down, in the middle of a rain storm!!! Even if I can't fix it, is there any way to get it up? Any ideas would be great!

more than likely its the switch or the wires to the switch that are loose

We had to buy a new motor for our window. We went to a wrecking company and bought a used one out of a wrecked car and put it in ourself. Works great now.
