Ok so as short as i can make story lol, About 6 months ago I decided to get the ignition switch replaced due to the car trying continuously to start even when it had started so my husband instead of just replacing swich he replace whole steering column then next night he replaced alternater that was bad as well after this the vehicle went crazy lights going on and off vehicle shifting wrong all sorts of things took to two different mechanics (My husband can not understand electrical repairs) the first one found a ground issue by steering column also at this point the electrical issue had fried my battery ok so that was fixed vehicle started to act normal cool fixed right! Wait no month later or so starts doing same problem alllll over again like it was possesed so we took vehicle to chevy dealer repair shop this time they had car for 9 hrs electrical issue killed alternator and battery again they found a different ground issue by the alternator so now car runs great no trans issues lights stay on however now overhead DIC (Driver Info Center) wont work my radio has only have led visible not sure why and the power door will not open with any of the buttons (Overhead, Pillar, Keyless) however if you pull handles inside or out the door will finish opening with the power motor and then once open I can hit ANY of the buttons and the door will close. I tried re-initializing and the door stopped working all together, then about 2 weeks later now is working only with handles again I am at a loss dont wont to send to another mechanic dont have money for that oh and I ran Diagnostics returned DTC code 23 No latch input and when I try 5th test open and close door slowly while in diag #2 there is no sound all other sounds do as said, also i have cleaned the contacts and the door does make the sound like it is locked when i push the buttons to open yet it is not
