Just got an 02 aztek in on a trade, the dash cluster doesn't work at all going down the road, can play with the window switches and the gauges will kick on and work for a few seconds and stop. Radio and heater fans don't work can play with the ignition switch and radio will come on any ideas? Was told it was the dash cluster so we bought a used one and replaced it took it to a Pontiac dealer because they said it would have to be reprogrammed, so took to the dealer ship to get reprogrammed they said they couldn't do it and that it was showing a open circuit on the ignition switch? What could be causing all of this? Its an 02 Pontiac aztek, 3.4 motor, its front wheel drive!

all I can go on is what you are stating, you know the ignition switch can cause the radio to go on and the dealer told you there was an open circuit on the ignition switch. Did they tell you the switch should be replaced?
