03 Pontiac Grand Am SE is having problems...

...accelerating.? Once I get to a complete stop, its hard to get going... no power. The mechanic tried to get a computer to read it- and a bunch of jibberish showed up and he had no idea what it meant. He said it may be an electrical problem, since I have no power in my engine. Thoughts?

You need to find someone who can make some sence of thew readout for the computer that would be the only way to properly diagnoise it ..
you need to find another mechanic..
