Fuel pump on my sons car is becoming intermittent, starts and stops. If it stops working he taps on the tank, moves the wiring around and it starts again. I understand the pump is in the tank but I have heard there is an access panel through the trunk area? Also, I see there are varying prices...ebay has them as low as 70$, Amazon at 150$ and the local parts stores are 250$. Anyone had any luck with the cheaper off brands they sell on ebay or Amazon? How about the harness? I'm hearing it would have to be changed as well. Anyone know the reason and does it have to be spliced in or what? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
