Cannot figure out why my driver side switch only works when it feels like it.now my windows wont roll back up.

Could be a blown motor, but if it rolled down OK there's a chance it's a defective switch or broken wiring where the wiring runs between the door and the instrument panel. I've had that happen to both a Safari and Astro vans.

If you can pry the switch out, check for voltage at the switch in the raise and lower positions. Also check for continuity to the motor from the switch.

The window rolls up and down at its leisure. When the light is on for the driver side window panel all windows work when the light is not lit none of the windows will work. Also when I push the driver side switch (the upper right switch) up it makes a funny noise, but when pushed down there is no noise, HELP what's going on?? Do I need a new motor??

If the light is intermittent in operations, along with the windows, check out your power supplies and wiring.
Pick up an inexpensive multimeter (I've found them for under $30) and a repair manual for your model and year (Factory Service Manual is best or Hayne's which isn't great but it's cheap and better than nothing). Find out how to access your driver's switch and check for voltage.
Check the wiring for breaks where it runs between the instrument panel and the door. You'll need to dislodge the rubber tunnel the wire runs through.

The motor will be noisier in raise than in lower because the motor has to work harder to raise than lower the window. This could also be a symptom of bad wiring.
