Disclaimer: I haven't taken this to a shop yet, just hoping someone can give me a guess. :)

A couple of weeks ago I noticed that the drivers' side low beam headlight was out. I replaced the bulb (like ya do, right?) and it still didn't work. Glumly assuming this must be a wiring problem, I put it off and tried to only drive during daylight hours. I noticed the next day that the light was WORKING during the day - but as soon as it gets dark, it doesn't. Setting the lights from 'auto' to 'on' has the same result.

Any ideas?

Check ur fuse under the hood . Look in the owners manual it will tell you where it is i had the same problem.

Thanks so much for your reply! Sorry, I should have come back and posted the solution...

Finally figured out that the replacement bulb was faulty. Duh, right? I was so annoyed at myself for not checking. Turns out there was just the barest hairline separation in the bulb filament that was causing it to go whacko. I got another new bulb and she's as good as new!

Silly me for expecting new purchases to be perfect every time, eh? :)
